Education
Education is extremely important for entrepreneurs, and there are many different ways in which this can be accomplished.
Being an entrepreneur is a skill (or rather a group of skills) that can be developed, taught in an assortment of methods, and learned in the real world by doing. Learning from do-ers (mentors and role models) and personal advice from other business people can prepare an entrepreneur for the journey ahead.
An entrepreneur starting their own business needs to have an assortment of skills that they have to learn and/or hire out. Qualifications in accounting, marketing/advertising, human resources, and business management are relevant not only to the entrepreneur’s business but to any career.
MCDEVCO offers to all entrepreneurs educational programs, workshops, and seminars at no charge or nominal fees to fill the educational GAP.
Each of our programs is created and presented by our volunteer business professionals from their work experience. Each class is designed to meet and fill a GAP in the experience of an entrepreneur.
Successful entrepreneurship is more than just a passion or even an act of will. It requires skills, knowledge, resources, networking, and the opportunity to learn.
