Great Progress in Rothschild

Redevelopment Plan and TID Plan

The Village of Rothschild has solicited proposals from firms for work on a Redevelopment Plan and a possible TID Plan, if state mandated criteria warrant its development. At the last meeting in August, the Rothschild Village Board awared both projects to MSA Professional Services. The area of focus is the portion of the village north of STH 29 in the Shopko Plaza area and the Grand Avenue corridor.

Master Park Plan

The Village of Rothschild solicited proposals for a Master Park Plan to be developed for the Rothschild Pavillion, Kort Street Boat Landing, and Aquatic Center area. This plan will be completed to determine possible utilization activities and developments. The plan consists of a historical review, a woodland study, and the master plan itself. The plan will also be used and coordinated into the Redevelopment and TID plans.

The Village of Rothschild welcomes comments from the public.
