Northcentral Technical College was recognized as one of the fastest-growing community/technical colleges in the nation in a recent analysis of U.S. Department of Education data conducted by Community College Week magazine. NTC was listed No. 21 out of the nation's top 50 "fastest growing" public two-year colleges.
"As the community's college, Northcentral Technical College is committed to providing accessible, flexible and affordable higher education opportunities to learners throughout central Wisconsin," said Lori Weyers, president of NTC. "To be recognized as one of the nation's fastest growing two-year institutions is a tribute to the dedicated faculty and staff that work to ensure we are a viable first step, or next step, for our learners."
The ratings were based on a review of the enrollment of more than 1,100 community colleges nationwide. NTC has seen a 48 percent growth in enrollment since 2005-06.
